THE UPSTAIRS dibentuk pada 5 Oktober 2001 di Jakarta oleh Jimi Multhazam
(vokalis) dan Kubil Idris (gitar) dengan pengaruh musikal dari band-band new wave macam A Flock Of Seagulls, Devo, Depeche
Mode, hingga Joy Division. Menyusul bergabung beberapa bulan kemudian, seorang drummer band metalcore bernama Beni Adhiantoro.
Kebetulan kesemuanya adalah mahasiswa Institut Kesenian Jakarta. Awal 2002 THE UPSTAIRS merilis ep bertitel “Antahberantah”
dalam format kaset dan CD yang ludes 300 keping dalam waktu singkat. Ini dilanjutkan dengan serangkaian live performances
mereka di Jakarta, Bandung dan Jogjakarta.
Selain karena ciri musikal mereka yang danceable, lirik-lirik lagu
yang jenaka, THE UPSTAIRS juga terkenal karena kharisma frontman mereka, Jimi ‘Danger’ Multhazam yang eksentrik
dan pandai bersilat kata jika sedang manggung. Setelah melalui serangkaian reformasi dalam line-up, kini formasi tersolid
THE UPSTAIRS adalah Jimi Multhazam (vocals), Kubil Idris (guitar), Beni Adhiantoro (drums), Alfi Chaniago (bass & keyboards),
Elta Emanuella (keyboards & synths), Selvy Maryana (back-up vocals .1) dan Muti Rievana (back-up vocals .2).
THE
UPSTAIRS merilis full-length debut CD mereka yang bertitel “Matraman” di bawah indie label Sirkus Rekord pada
tanggal 14 Februari 2004. Tepat di malam Valentine tersebut mereka menggelar pula record release party di BB’s Bar,
Menteng, Jakarta. Di event ini mereka menggunakan additional keyboardist bernama Hendra Petroff dari band psikedelik rock
THAT’S ROCKEFELLER. Acara pesta rilis album itu kemudian tercatat sebagai gig paling ramai yang pernah diselenggarakan
di bar sempit namun legendaris tersebut. 100 keping CD “Matraman” pun ludes dalam hitungan dua jam saja di acara
tersebut.
Sebulan kemudian THE UPSTAIRS syuting video musik bagi singel pertama mereka “Apakah Aku Berada
Di Mars atau Mereka Mengundang Orang Mars” bersama sutradara berbakat Anggun dan Henry ‘Batman’ dari griya
produksi The Jadugar (pemenang Sutradara Terbaik MTV Indonesia Awards 2003). Profil THE UPSTAIRS pun kerapkali tampil di majalah-majalah
bergengsi di tanah air seperti MTV Trax, GADIS, Hai, Cosmogirl, Aneka hingga Poster.
6 April 2004 THE UPSTAIRS
diundang oleh stasiun radio MTV Sky Jakarta untuk melakukan wawancara sekaligus live broadcasting di program acara MTV “Cutting
Edge”. Acara ini merupakan penampilan Petroff untuk terakhir kalinya di dunia. Tepat seminggu kemudian additional keyboardist
THE UPSTAIRS tersebut meninggal dunia secara mendadak karena serangan jantung. Wafatnya Petroff tak pelak membuat THE UPSTAIRS
kalang kabut. Selain karena mereka tak punya kibordis permanen, THE UPSTAIRS juga sudah teken kontrak untuk ikut Weststock
Tour 2004. Sebuah tur konser keliling kampus di Jabotabek bareng Club Eighties, Seurieus, The Brandals dan The Miskins mulai
akhir April hingga Mei 2004. Usai melakukan audisi mendadak, terpilihlah kemudian seorang perempuan bernama Elta yang dipercaya
untuk menjadi kibordis permanen THE UPSTAIRS. Penampilan pertamanya terjadi di putaran pertama tur Weststock yang bertempat
di Kampus Universitas Trisakti, Grogol pada 23 April 2004.
Awal Mei 2004, singel pertama THE UPSTAIRS yang berjudul
“Apakah Aku Berada Di Mars atau Mereka Mengundang Orang Mars” selama dua minggu berturut-turut sukses bertengger
di chart No.1 MTV Sky JAMU (Jajaran Musik Unggulan). Sementara di charts stasiun-stasiun radio swasta lainnya seperti Prambors,
I-Radio, U-FM, MTV Sky Jogja, MTV Sky Semarang, Swaragama hingga Oz FM singel tersebut berhasil masuk ke jajaran sepuluh besar
hingga berminggu-minggu lamanya. Akhir Mei 2004 video klip lo-budget THE UPSTAIRS “Apakah Aku Berada di Mars....”
untuk pertama kalinya ditayangkan di stasiun televisi MTV Indonesia yang segera disusul dengan penampilan fenomenal THE UPSTAIRS
di Jogjakarta pada awal Juni 2004. Tanggal 1 Agustus 2004 lalu album “Matraman” dirilis dalam format kaset dengan
pendistribusian secara nasional via label RNB.

SIKSAKUBUR was formed on 6 July 1996 in Jakarta INDONESIA.
On
July 21st, September 5th and September 6th 2000,
SIKSAKUBUR was recorded 9 songs in K studio Jakarta and make the first album with title “The
Carnage” who released and distribution in Indonesia
by Extreme Souls Production on Cassette and CD format. The sales is going so great, and the responses is so amazing. “The
Carnage” released for only 1.000 copies cassette and 500 copies CD, and now almost sold out for sales in Indonesia. Even though the sound quality not so good, because
less quality of equipment and recording studio.
On
November 25th & 26th 2001, SIKSAKUBUR was recorded 10 songs + 1 hate (intro) in K studio again,
and make the second album with title “Back To Vengeance” who released and distribution in Indonesia by Rottrevore
Records on Cassette format only. The sales is going more Great, and the responses is totally amazing. “Back To Vengeance”
released the 1st copies for only 1.000 cassette, and for two month after “Back To Vengeance” available,
has been sold 750 copies cassette in Indonesia
only. The sound is getting more good than “The Carnage”, but we still hope and dream to get best quality of recording
studio and the equipment in Indonesia
with cheap price.
After
“Back To Vengeance” available, SIKSAKUBUR is more busy to play in many Gigs/Tour in Indonesia. SIKSAKUBUR
member in album “The Carnage” and “Back To Vengeance” are : Andyan Gorust (Drums), Japra (Vocals),
Burgenk (Bass) and Ade Godel (Guitars). But after recorded “Back To Vengeance” we replaced Ade Godel, because
he had no more time for band. And now SIKSAKUBUR member are : Andyan Gorust (Drums), Japra (Vocals), Yudhi(Bass), and Andre
(Guitars). On December 2003 we release a 3rd album “Eye Cry” who released and distribution in indonesia
by Rottrevore Records on Cassette and CD, Cassette only 2000 copies and 1000 copies CD.

STRAIGHTOUT dibentuk pada bulan Mei 1998 di Jakarta oleh Pipinx
(Guitar), Mui (Vokal) dengan pengaruh musikal dari band-band Hard Core macam Earth Crisis dan Strife. Namun setelah melalui
serangkaian reformasi personil yang cukup memakan waktu dan rumit, kini formasi solid STRAIGHTOUT adalah Bayu (Vocals), Pipinx
(1st guitar), Rendy (2nd guitar), Sony (Bass), Beni (Drums), Doni(Keyboards). Seiring dengan perubahan line up dari STRAIGHTOUT
maka pengaruh musikal mereka, berkembang ke arah Band Metal macam Slayer, Iron Maiden, hingga band Metal Core seperti Morning
Again, Poison The Well, Avanged Seven Fold, dan Dead Blue Sky.
Perkembangan ini dilanjutkan dengan serangkaian live performances
mereka di Jakarta, STRAIGHTOUT telah menjadi Langganan pada Acara- acara yang diadakan di kota Bandung, Purwokerto dan Semarang,
Selain karena ciri musikal mereka yang bernuansa Sorrow dan Gothic, lirik-lirik lagu yang mengandung unsur poetry, serta lantunan
suara female voice dengan karakter angelic voice yang dingin, STRAIGHTOUT memiliki ciri khas Stage act yang energik dan mengagumkan.
Bayu dengan karaket vokal anger dan full emotion, Piping dan rendy
yang piawai bermain gitar dan mempermainkan instrumen mereka seperti swinging Yngwie hingga mengangkat gitarnya ke atas ketika
bermelody seperti layaknya Iron Maiden. Sony yang handal mengiringi beat drum dan ber-kapoera hardcore dengan bass-nya, Beny
dengan permainannya yang selalu power full dengan skill tinggi setia mengawal setiap beat STRAIGHTOUT. Tak ketinggalan Dony
yang menambah unsur Dark dengan sound keyboard Choir-nya, kesemuanya itu membuat permainan musik dalam STRAIGHTOUT lebih harmonis
dan sangat atraktif sehingga mampu membakar adrenalin crowd untuk ber moshpit dan bermoshing.

Sweet As Revenge was officially formed in the late 2003's, the early november to
be more exact. It was founded by Max (vocals, guitar) and Dian (guitar), and they asked Gardha Takes All to play the bass
and Wawan on drums. But the formation wasn't last for long, since Gardha had to leave the band and Febri was asked to replace
Gardha's position.
And so were the drummer, Wawan, he chose to leave
the band for personal business. Then Ichsan and Ricky with their generousity came into the band to help the band on creating
their first single Broken Lines and Empty Smile which last 7 weeks on the top of the MTV's cutting edge chart, but
on the recording process, the drums were filled by FUAD HILMAN and Ricky didn't come to the studio.
In their journey, Yoga once joined the band
to help the band with the second guitar, but he also had to leave them since his other band (Ivory) was signed into contract
with major lable. Then Ferry (Fist Of Theraphy) helped them on their stage performance until Johannes joined the band to fill
the second guitarist position.
It's been more than a year together, strugling for existence,
when Fuad decided to leave the band, it was a difficult decission for the band's management, but it's the best for us all
since he has to be more serious with his other band SUNDAY's BLUE. They've been looking for a drummer for quite some times,
lucky for them to find Aswin to fill in the position.
Its a long hard road for a new band in this rock music industry,
but like the old man said "no pain, no gain".
Sweet As Revenge's first public performance
was on December 2003 on accoustic session in Prambors Radio session with D'Zeek. And their first stage performance was in
June 2004.
A year is a very short time for a band to be counted as a band in the scene, but they dont care, they just
let what's in their heart out. Treasonous, impertinent way of treating, racket and uproar situation just make them stronger
in composing their songs. The single Broken Lines and Empty Smile is in a compilation album called ANTHEMS OF TOMORROW V/A
dErecords.
Sweet As Revenge's Music is a mixture
of rage and suffering, yet there's still love and passion in it.
